qEEG based Neurofeedback is FDA approved, insurance endorsed, painless, noninvasive, non-irradiating, non-pharmacological and shown to have the potential to decrease medication and opioid use.  It is a form of exercise for the brain.  The end result is a brain that functions better, like the body responds to exercise.

Our Dry Sensor Interface (DSI) headsets were developed by The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and feature revolutionary dry electrode technology that acquires clean EEG signals without the need for skin preparation.

ADHD

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is the most commonly diagnosed mental disorder of children, causing them to be hyperactive and unable to control impulses as well as struggle with paying attention for a prolonged or even short period of time.

The Center for Disease Control and prevention states that 6.4 million American children ages 4 – 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD.  That is 11 percent of all American children; and sadly, 2 out of 3 children continue to be symptomatic as adults.  Children diagnosed with ADHD are also diagnosed with additional mental disorders such as CD or Conduct Disorder, which impacts 25% of ADHD sufferers.  25 to 40% of children with CD develop antisocial personality disorders such as sociopathy or psychopathy.

PTSD

Another common mental disorder is PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).  Overall, nearly 8% of our American population (1 out of 13) will experience PTSD during their lives.  Symptoms include flashbacks, nightmares, difficulty concentrating, easy to anger, emotional numbness, and substance abuse.
Symptoms include: flashbacks, nightmares, difficulty sleeping, difficulty concentrating, jumpiness, easiness to anger, frequent lashing out or withdrawal, high levels of irritation, emotional numbness, addiction, substance abuse, inability to cultivate healthy relationships and avoidance of places, people and activities that are reminders of the trauma.

PTSD may develop from exposure (direct or indirect) to sexual or physical assault, sexual or physical abuse, accidents, traumatic brain injury, combat, natural or other disaster, death of a loved one, witness to death or witness to injury, exposure to life-threatening violence, or a perceived threat to one’s personal safety
